Fees and Rebates

  • The standard appointment fee is $260 for 50 minutes. The same fee applies for Telehealth appointments. Payment is required on the day of your appointment via credit card, EFTPOS, or direct deposit.

These fees are lower than the recommended fees set by the Australian Psychological Society ($318).

I offer limited reduced cost sessions for people experiencing financial hardship, please get in touch.

  • With a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate. Currently, the rebate is $145.25 per appointment, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

If you are attending sessions using a Chronic Condition Management Plan, the Medicare rebate is $61.80.

  • Some private health insurers provide partial rebates for psychology services. Please contact your health fund provider to see if this is covered by your policy.

Please note you cannot claim both private health insurance and Medicare rebates for the same appointment.

  • I do not provide psychological services under third-party providers such as WorkCover, TAC and other supported schemes.

  • If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment time to another person in need.

Based on recommendations by the Australian Psychological Society:
    - Cancellations with 24-48 hours notice will incur 50% of the consultation fee.
    - Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full consultation fee.

Please note that Medicare rebates are not available on cancellation fees.
